‘Catweazle Love’

March 27, 2010

The magic of the place. The smell of the incense, the dimmed lights, the artists, the performance, the poetry, the guitar, the music. It’s like being transported to a different world.

Catweazle Club is a night hosted at the East Community Centre in Oxford. It is an open mic night open to everyone – focusing primarily on poetry and music. If you don’t want to perform, (performers get in for free) , you pay 5 pounds and sit down and let yourself be completely submerged by the magic of the place. Seriously, there is nothing like it. I had the priviledge of being a part of it on Thursday, by reading some of my stuff.
